Who and what do we believe in
Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed
Adopted by the Second Ecumenical Council in 381 in Constantinople
1. We believe in One God, Almighty Father, Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, everything visible and invisible
2. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one essence with the Father, through whom all things came into being:
- for us, humans, and for our salvation, which came down from heaven, and became incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man;

- and ascended into Heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father;
